U.S. Cellular ScholarshipThe following requirements must be met in order to qualify for a U.S. Cellular scholarship :
- Senior attending high school and graduating in Spring of 2010
- Will be attending a four-year college or university in the U.S. as a full-time student
- Cumulative 3.0 grade point average or above
- Students will write a 500 word essay: Identify five prerequisites for success and explain in detail your personal philosophy for the pursuit of excellence. Explain how you will use your college education to achieve this pursuit of excellence.
Summary of scholarship details:
- U.S. Cellular will award 5 scholarships in 2009 and 5 scholarships in 2010
- Scholarships will be for $1,250 each year, renewable for a total of four years, contingent on student maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Award will be paid, by PUSH Excel, in a lump sum directly to the college or university the student is attending.
