Jesse L. Jackson, Sr. and is designed to provide students with opportunities to develop their leadership and advocacy skills, as well as to support their academic endeavor.

BENNETT EXCEL scholars will be called upon, from time to time, to meet as a group with members of the PUSH EXCEL Board of Directors, or with other speakers.  They may also be asked to serve as a focus group about issues of advocacy and activism.
