MLK Scholarship Breakfast
The 20th Annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Breakfast will be held on Monday, January 18, 2010 at Sheraton Hotel and Towers Sheraton Chicago Ballroom 301 East North Water Street, Chicago, Illinois 60611. For more information call 773-256-2762.
Since 1975, PUSH for Excellence (PUSH-Excel) has sought to encourage students and their parents to strive toward academic excellence, and to make education and the development of America’s youth a shared community function. Annually, PUSH-Excel expands educational opportunities to youth across the nation by providing academic scholarships, testing and college preparation, oratorical competitions, and juvenile mentoring and early intervention programs.
PUSH-Excel since 1980 has commemorated the educational eminence of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with the MLK Scholarship Breakfast.
Your support of the MLK Scholarship Breakfast and PUSH-Excel programs is deeply rooted, not only in Dr. King’s dream for America to honor her promise of inclusion, but the American dream of equal educational opportunity. Tickets for the event are $100.00 per person and $1,000 for a table of ten.
