Historic Conversation Planned for MLK Scholarship Celebration

December 15, 2012

The Push Excel 23rd Annual MLK Scholarship Celebration on January 15, 2013 at the UIC forum in Chicago will feature a conversation among three members of Dr. King’s inner-circle who were with him on his last birthday. Rev. Jesse Jackson, Rev. Dr. Otis Moss, and Rev. Dr. Andrew Young will share remembrances of that day and their work together in the Civil Rights Movement. It will be a historic conversation that you won’t want to miss.

The Scholarship Celebration is a breakfast event that is held each year to raise funds for the PUSH Excel Scholarship Fund. Through the fund, PUSH Excel has helped hundreds of students attend college and pursue their dreams.

Plan to attend this year to help us help more students and for a once in lifetime opportunity…a conversation among three civil rights giants.
